Defending your dissertation :

Step 1 - For the approval of the Jury the following documents are needed:

• The completed form compositon_jury_rapporteurs.doc
  
• A summary of the dissertation
• The PhD candidate's list of publications

Step 2 - For approval to defend, the following documents are needed :

• Two reports - printed on institutional letterhead, dated no earlier than three months before submission, signed, and explicitly authorizing the defense ;
  
• The “attestation compilatio” compilatio_attestation.docx; compilatio_guide_directeur.docx
  
• Confirmation of the online submission of the dissertation to the university library (theses@univ-paris-diderot.fr)
• The completed information form fiche_renseignements_gm.doc
• The completed “Autorisation de soutenance” autorisation_de_soutenance_gm.docx
